SAN ANTONIO – Several teenagers were arrested in connection with a shooting on the East Side, according to San Antonio police.
The shooting happened around 3:40 p.m. Monday at Gembler Road and North WW White Road.
When SAPD arrived at the scene, they found a large number of shell casings and multiple vehicles that were hit.
Officers chased after the teenagers to North Burnett Street and North Palmetto Avenue, where their stolen vehicle hit a curb and lost traction, according to SAPD.
Authorities arrested four individuals, ages 14, 16, and 18. Several guns were recovered from the stolen vehicle.
SAPD believes a few other people were involved in the shooting and also evaded police.
A woman, 46, was wounded in the leg during the gunfire, SAPD said. She was transported to a hospital for treatment.
