The Wilson County Veterans Services Office and Coffee, Cars & Veterans are hosting the free event, which honors the late Sgt. Robert M. Johnson, a U.S. Army Vietnam Bronze Star Recipient and native of Floresville.

“This is about building comradery and raising awareness about local veterans services,” said Ray Herrera, with the Wilson County Veterans Services Office.

The office aims to help veterans transition into civilian life. It estimates about 5,000 veterans live in Wilson County.

The event will also feature food trucks and family-friendly activities.

The address for the event is 435 State Highway 97 E, Floresville, TX 78114.
