Not as much rain on the radar today, but we still have the opportunity for development through about 9pm.
WEEKEND UPDATE
Quiet and remaining unseasonably warm this weekend, but the “heat high” breaks down next week, which opens the door for any available disturbances. And it just so happens that the ingredients for drought-denting rain should come together over the southwestern U.S., giving San Antonio some hope for rain.
CHANGES NEXT WEEK?
Computer model guidance is notoriously bad in these situations and there are many moving parts. One thing we do know is that Pacific moisture and rainmaking energy will likely stream into parts of Texas by midweek. This could combine with a cold front Wednesday, although this is still not a guarantee. Should that happen, rain chances would rise and temps could potentially fall by late week.
