On Sunday, Roberson took the floor in the first-ever San Antonio Sports High School All-Star Basketball Game. KSAT’s Larry Ramirez spoke with Roberson along with her older brother, Wagner alum and former NBA forward André Roberson.

Team Black downs Team Gold in SA area All-Star battle between boys from 1A-4A, private schools
Antonian High School senior Max George’s 18 points and four rebounds helped Team Black to get by Team Gold 73-67 on Sunday in the boys’ Class 1A through 4A and private schools edition of the San Antonio Sports High School All-Star Basketball Game. After the game, George was named Player of the Game.

Boerne alum and Louisiana Tech signee Averi Aaron scored 21 points, grabbed nine rebounds and blocked three shots to help Team Gold get by Team Black on Sunday in the girls’ Class 1A through 4A and private schools edition of the San Antonio Sports High School All-Star Basketball Game. After the game, Aaron was named Player of the Game.

Judson's defense helps the Rockets get the top spot in 6A District 27
The Judson girls basketball team had a showdown with the East Central Hornets for the top spot in 6A District 27. The Rockets dominated with a defense that held the Hornets to only 29 points. Judson's Kayla King led all scorers with 18 points as Judson would go on to win, 49-29.
Unbeaten McCollum suffers first loss of season
The McCollum High School girls basketball team was 17-0 coming into Tuesday night's game against San Marcos. A rough shooting night for the Cowboys and San Marcos' starting five, all scoring in double-digits, led to the Cowboys' first loss of the season.
BASKETBALL: Our Lady of the Lake hosts SAAABC Girls All-Star game
On Sunday afternoon, Our Lady of the Lake University played host to a trio of San Antonio Area Association of Basketball Coaches All-Star games featuring many of the area's best graduating players. The girls game featured 24 players from 18 different teams under the direction of Harlan head coach Mannasha Bell Agusi and Jefferson head coach Natasha Benavides. Agusi's team defeated Benavides' team 93-88.
BOYS BASKETBALL: Brennan battles Beaumont United in UIL Class 6A State Semifinals
For the first time since 2013, the Brennan boys basketball team took the court at the Alamodome for the UIL State Semifinals, going against the defending Class 5A Champs Beaumont United in the 6A Semifinals. Despite a furious fourth-quarter rally, the Bears came up just short of advancing to the state championship game, 70-68. Freshman Isaiah Ward finished with a team-high 26 points.
BOYS BASKETBALL: Boerne faces Houston Washington in UIL Class 4A State Semifinals
Making their third straight appearance in the UIL Class 4A State tournament, the Boerne high school boys basketball team took on a tough Booker T. Washington squad in this year’s semifinals in the Alamodome. After securing a 32-31 halftime lead thanks to some great outside shooting, the Greyhounds couldn’t keep pace with the Golden Eagles in the second half of a 75-69 loss.
BOYS BASKETBALL: Veterans Memorial takes on Dallas Kimball in first UIL State tournament appearance
In their first UIL State tournament appearance, the San Antonio Veterans Memorial High School boys basketball team took a talented Dallas Kimball squad down to the wire in the Class 5A Semifinals. Junior Damarion Dennis posted a team-high 16 points, but the Patriots came up short in a back-and-forth battle 50-47 in the Alamodome.
BOYS BASKETBALL: Lytle battles Childress in first UIL State appearance in 99 years
In their first State tournament appearance since 1924, Lytle took on Childress in the UIL Class 3A Semifinals on Thursday afternoon in the Alamodome. After losing senior Jordan Balderaz to foul trouble early in the first quarter and falling behind by double-digits at halftime, a second-half rally wasn't enough to get the Pirates back into the game, as they fall to the Bobcats 69-48, marking the end of an historic season.
BOYS BASKETBALL: Veterans Memorial ready for first UIL State tournament appearance
After claiming the UIL Class 5A Regional title with a victory over Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial on Saturday afternoon, San Antonio Veterans Memorial is preparing for their first trip to the Alamodome for the state tournament in program history. The Patriots will face Dallas Kimball in the Class 5A semifinals Thursday night at 7 p.m.

For the first time since 2013, the Brennan boys basketball team will play in the UIL State tournament. Their Class 6A semifinal matchup will pit them against the defending Class 5A State champs Beaumont United, who bumped up one classification during the UIL's realignment.

After some research, Lytle has uncovered that this year's boys squad is the first team since 1924 to qualify for a state tournament. The Pirates will play their first state tournament game in 99 years against Childress Thursday at 3 p.m. in the Alamodome.

Junior Arianna Roberson scored a game-high 24 points and was named Tournament MVP, as the Clark high school girls basketball team defeated DeSoto 42-37 to claim their first UIL Class 6A State title on Saturday night in the Alamodome.

Thanks to a 31-point performance from sophomore Kingston Flemings, the Brennan boys basketball team raced past San Marcos 82-54 to claim the UIL Class 6A Regional title and clinch a spot in next week's state tournament.

BOYS BASKETBALL: TMI Episcopal celebrates first state title since 1961
On Tuesday morning, TMI Episcopal celebrated their first boys state title since 1961. Three-time NBA Champion Bruce Bowen coached the Panthers to the TAPPS 5A title with a 54-46 victory over Austin St. Michael's Catholic over the weekend.
