Man, 84, suffers life-threatening injuries after being hit by vehicle on North Side, SAPD says

Driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, police say

SAN ANTONIO – An 84-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries after he was struck by a vehicle on the North Side, according to San Antonio police.

The crash happened just after 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of West Nottingham Drive near Broadway.

The man was taken to a hospital.

Police at the scene told KSAT the driver of a Cadillac SRX called 911 and remained at the scene when SAPD arrived.

No criminal charges are being filed at this time, police said.

SAPD said its investigation is ongoing.
