FORECAST
COLD AGAIN TONIGHT
Tonight, temperatures will lower under clear skies, allowing our Extreme Cold Warning to be extended until 9 am Tuesday. Lows near 20° in San Antonio, once again nearing a record. Keep your plants and pipes covered once again.
You’ll really want to make sure the kids are properly dressed in warm gear if they are waiting at the bus stop! There’s also a slight chance for freezing fog. This is fog that freezes on contact with elevated surfaces like trees and sidewalks. This is far from a guarantee, but something we have to watch for. We’ll keep you posted!
We’ll warm up throughout the day, and actually be near 50° in the afternoon!
MORE COLD FRONTS LATER THIS WEEK
While we will see a warm-up over the next few days, another front is poised to slide through on Friday. This will be followed by a reinforcing shot of cold air on Saturday. This go-round, we do not expect precipitation with these systems. However, more freezes lie ahead by the weekend.
