FORECAST
THIS WEEK
Expect a repeat of Sunday! Low clouds/patchy fog possible early Monday, clearing by mid-morning. Afternoon highs soar back into the upper 80s to near 90°, with record warm lows possible Monday/Tuesday mornings.
Tuesday continues the hot streak as this warm, humid air mass stays in place ahead of an approaching Pacific storm system.
WHAT WE’RE WATCHING
An upper-level low currently over the Pacific will move toward Texas midweek. While confidence in rain is moderate to high, confidence in timing and severity is still low because model solutions continue to shift.
- Wednesday: Scattered downpours or storms possible (30–50% chance)
- Thursday: Higher chance for widespread rain and storms (60% chance)
Some strong storms and locally heavy rainfall are possible, though the most intense portion of the system may track closer to North Texas and the DFW region. Forecast details — including timing, rainfall totals, and severe risks — will become clearer once the system is sampled by West Coast upper-air data early next week.
Please check back frequently — midweek weather could be impactful.
THANKSGIVING SNEAK PEEK
Thanksgiving is still more than a week away, so forecast confidence is limited. Early signals point toward a late-November cold front, potentially arriving on or just before Thanksgiving Day.
That means it’s unlikely we’ll be in the 80s. More likely highs in the 70s, or if the front moves through on Thanksgiving, highs could fall into the 60s.
