FORECAST
FALLING HUMIDITY
A weak cool front has moved through dropping the humidity for tonight and tomorrow, but by Thursday morning the mugginess returns.
RAIN CHANCE LATE FRIDAY/EARLY SATURDAY
An upper-level disturbance currently over the Pacific will head our way and increase rain chances by Friday evening into Saturday morning. As of now, most of the daytime hours on Friday are looking rain free with most of the showers and storms holding off until Friday night through Saturday morning.
The most fortunate neighborhoods could get 1″-3″, but that will be the exception and not the norm. However, street flooding is likely where the heaviest downpours fall.
As usual, a lot can (and likely will) change between now and Friday, so check back for updates.
AN ACTUAL FALL FRONT NEXT WEEK?
Long-term models are hinting at an actual fall-like front early next week. Timing is still a bit of a question, but cooler air is possible by the middle of next week. We’ll keep you posted as we get a bit closer!
