Small businesses across San Antonio say they’re feeling the squeeze from increased tariffs and rising prices — and many are counting on the community to show up for Small Business Saturday.

The holiday season is in full swing and now is the best time to support small businesses around the Alamo City.

Small Business Saturday is a day dedicated to showing support for community-owned businesses. Built in-between Black Friday and Cyber Monday, family-owned shops in San Antonio hope to spur the local economy.

Small businesses have had a tough year as inflation and paying higher wages have cut into their profits.

It all comes at you so quickly: One minute, you’re making grocery lists and setting the menu for Thanksgiving, and then, in the blink of an eye, the holiday has arrived, only to be followed by Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday -- and then your tree goes up and Christmas morning is here.
