Man killed in single-vehicle crash on Northwest Side, SAPD says

SAN ANTONIO – A man is dead after a single-vehicle crash on the Northwest Side, according to the San Antonio Police Department.

The crash happened Wednesday morning near Culebra Road and Les Harrison Drive. An approximate time is unclear.

SAPD is not certain what caused the crash but said the driver may have been ejected from the vehicle. Police confirmed the death in an email to KSAT.

On Wednesday night, the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the driver as Ruben Castor, 54.

The medical examiner’s office said Castor’s cause and manner of death are still pending.
