South Texas Blood & Tissue aims to reach 5 millionth blood donation milestone

The “5 Million in 50” challenge aims to reach the milestone within 50 days, which is Sept. 4, to encourage blood donations over the summer, typically the slowest time for donations as schools and employers hold fewer blood drives and many donors are on vacation.
