Some San Antonio-area federal workers are on the receiving end for assistance during the government shutdown, but they are also on the giving end, as well.

As the government shutdown continues, James Avery and Cavender Grande Ford worked together to help affected federal workers and military personnel by giving away hundreds of food boxes on Tuesday.
