According to the non-profits vice president, Ginger Robinson, Culinaria decided to extent the culinary event to help attract more customers in order to help restaurants cover operating costs. So, (customers) have the option to add-on a donation.The donations form a part of Culinarias emergency relief efforts that are addressed through their Hospitality Fund. After a morning of heavy rain and thunderstorms, a flash flood warning expired and the clouds parted just in time for hundreds to line up at the entrance. Chefs served up their own unique versions of sliders, hot dogs and treats while a live band provided the entertainment. Burgers & Beer was the last of the four main events of Festival Week. All proceeds will go to the Hope for Hospitality fund which raises money for culinary scholarships, Culinaria's Urban Farm project and Chefs 4 Chefs.
