Somerset ISD cancels Friday classes after overnight storms, district says

SOMERSET, Texas – The Somerset Independent School District canceled classes for Friday after overnight storms.

In a Facebook post, the district announced the cancellation, saying that students and staff “remain our top priority.”

All district events and activities scheduled for Friday morning are now canceled, Somerset ISD said.

Coaches and staff will communicate the status of afternoon events, the district says.
