TTI Outdoor Power Equipment Mowers
TTI Outdoor Power Equipment said it is recalling around 217,500 of its RYOBI Battery-Powered Mowers for safety reasons.
According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the mowers’ push-on connectors inside the powerhead can overheat and pose a fire hazard.
There have been 97 reports of this occurring with the mower in use. The CPSC said an overheated powerhead had caused five fires and two minor burn injuries.
Between February 2021 and January 2025, the affected mowers were sold at stores and online at Home Depot and Direct Tools.
Customers have been advised to stop using the mower, contact the company to receive a replacement and disable the recalled mower.

Vehicle Recalls - Toyota
Toyota has recalled certain models of its MY 2024-2025 Tacoma 4-wheel drive vehicles due to an issue with the rear brake hoses.
A release from Toyota stated that built-up dirt and mud inside the rear wheels from off-road conditions could result in a brake fluid leak and cause a crash.
Toyota said affected owners will be contacted directly for a free replacement of both rear brake hoses by April. Around 106,000 vehicles are affected by this recall, the company said.
Toyota is also recalling around 41,000 vehicles due to a damaged seatbelt, according to another press release.
The seatbelt in the center of the second row may have been damaged during the manufacturing stage and will not meet strength requirements.
The damaged seatbelt may increase the risk of injury during the crash, the release said.
Models included in the recall are certain 2024 to 2025 MY Toyota Camry in addition to the Lexus NX and Lexus RX.
Toyota is notifying owners by April 2025. The release said Toyota and Lexus dealers will replace the seatbelt webbing and assembly, if necessary, for free.
