A low pressure system has brought scattered rain to South Central Texas Monday night. While rain is not a guarantee for everyone, a few thundershowers will be around overnight and early Tuesday.
Here’s what you need to know:
OVERNIGHT (12 a.m. to 4 a.m.)
- NO SEVERE WEATHER IS EXPECTED
- Rain will be spotty in nature, but a few rumbles of thunder are possible
TUESDAY MORNING (4 a.m. to 9 a.m.)
- While most of the rain will be east of San Antonio by sunrise, the morning commute could be damp in spots.
- It may be a good idea to give yourself a little extra time to get to where you need to go.
TUESDAY (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
- Rain will move east of San Antonio by mid-morning, but it’s expected to stay mostly cloudy.
- Temperatures will be a little cooler Tuesday, with highs in the low-70s.
RAINFALL AMOUNTS
A few lucky spots will get up to half an inch of rain, but most will get only a few tenths. Higher rainfall totals are expected in Deep South Texas.
