SAN ANTONIO – May was a soggy month of May for us here in the Alamo City! Through thirty-one days, sixteen saw measurable rain at San Antonio International for a monthly rainfall total of 6.14 inches - 1.74 inches above average. In fact, San Antonio saw almost as much rain in the month of May as March and April combined.
As June begins, an active weather pattern over the southwestern United States will keep chances of showers and thunderstorms in the forecast. Here’s what you need to know:

- While an isolated shower or storm can’t be ruled out, Sunday looks to be a rain-free day for most
- Isolated rain chances will linger into Monday
- By the middle of next week, rain chances drop out of the forecast and temperatures begin to climb
