SAN ANTONIO โ A Bexar County deputy who wrote an incendiary Facebook comment has been fired, the sheriffโs office confirmed on Tuesday. The sheriffโs office proposed firing Jack Farmer after a comment he made in July. On a social media post about a person accused of stealing mail, Farmer wrote that people should โlynch mobโ the suspect. SAN ANTONIO โ A Bexar County patrol deputy who was arrested after three women complained of improper strip searches was terminated on Thursday, according to the sheriffโs office. Floyd Berry, who was an 18-year veteran with BCSO, was fired due to the pending criminal case against him, the sheriffโs office confirmed on Tuesday. A day later, another victim filed a similar complaint about Berry to the internal affairs unit. She told investigators that Berry โcontinually made flirtatious commentsโ for the rest of the ride. Records showed Berry kept his job after a similar strip search on a male inmate at the Bexar County Jail.
