SAN ANTONIO – A man was killed early Wednesday morning after his vehicle rear-ended another car and crashed into a fence on the Northwest Side, police said.
The crash happened just before 4:30 a.m. at the intersection of Culebra Road and Daniel Krug.
According to an SAPD preliminary report, a man driving at a high rate of speed struck a second vehicle from behind before colliding with a nearby fence.
The driver of the speeding vehicle, a 39-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The driver of the second vehicle left the roadway and came to a safe stop, according to the report.
Drivers in the area should seek an alternate route to avoid any potential traffic delays.
