Woman hit by vehicle, killed along US Highway 281 on North Side Crash happened just after 4:15 a.m. Friday

SAN ANTONIO – A woman was hit and killed by a vehicle on Friday morning along the southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 281 on the North Side.
Nancy Villarreal, 51, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s office, after a crash just after 4:15 a.m. on the St. Mary’s Street ramp onto U.S. Highway 281 southbound.
The incident is under investigation.
