According to an arrest warrant affidavit from the Texas Attorney General’s Office, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received a cyber tip in May 2022 about a file of apparent child pornography being uploaded to a cloud storage account used by Verizon Wireless customers.

Investigators later learned that the account belonged to Gonzalez, the affidavit states. A warrant to search the account was obtained and executed on March 1.

The affidavit states that investigators found 25 files of child pornography and evidence that Gonzalez used the account.

A warrant for his arrest was issued on Monday. Records show he was taken into custody on Tuesday.
