Library cardholders can now stream videos on Kanopy

San Antonio Public Library offering summer kits, virtual activities for teens

SAN ANTONIO – There is a new addition to San Antonio Public Library cardholders’ available resources.

All library cardholders can now stream videos on Kanopy- a streaming platform designed to support literacy and critical thinking for all ages, according to a news release.

“Digital library materials have become increasingly popular, and this trend accelerated during the pandemic,” Library Director Ramiro S. Salazar said in the release. “We are pleased to add Kanopy to our ever-expanding collection of items and services, which are free to San Antonio Public Library cardholders.”

To start using Kanopy, all users need to do is enter their library card number on the program website or app.

Access to Kanopy Kids is also included in the library’s subscription.

Kanopy Kids includes a collection of children’s programming that supports early learning, STEM education, and foreign language schooling, according to a news release.
