Toddler, man hit by gunfire sprayed into West Side home

Both victims in critical condition, police say

SAN ANTONIO – A toddler and man have been critically wounded in a drive-by shooting on San Antonio’s West Side.

San Antonio police say both of the victims were inside a home in the 200 block of Moraima Street when some fired shots into it around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.

They say both the three-year-old child and the man, who is in his 20s, were in critical condition as they left for a hospital in an ambulance.

The shooter was able to get away before police arrived.

Officers did not have a description right away of that person or the getaway car.

They say it appears the shooter purposely targeted the home.
