SAN ANTONIO – An immersive light display at San Antonio Botanical Garden opens to the public Friday but the media was invited to a sneak preview of the event on Wednesday night.

Lightscape features a mile-long trail of holiday lights that includes installations like a towering cathedral arch tunnel with 100,000 lights, a field of bluebonnets and a fire feature.

Tickets for Lightscape, which runs through Jan. 2, are expected to sell out. Prices vary depending on the date and time selected and can be purchased online.
