His arrest comes after officers were called out around 7 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 3, to the 1700 block of Leal Street to investigate a stabbing.

When police arrived, they found Gonzales’s brother Isaac Aguilar, 30, suffering from several stab wounds between a patio table and outdoor swing set, according to an arrest affidavit.

Aguilar was taken to a hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Witnesses told officers that the brothers got into a heated argument at a gathering for Gonzales’s birthday.

The situation escalated when the men were pushing each other as family members tried to break up the argument. That’s when Aguilar fell back onto a large, green slide after having been stabbed, according to the affidavit.

Aguilar told his family to call 9-1-1. Gonzales then dropped the knife and fled the location with two friends in a silver or white SUV.

All three witnesses positively identified Gonzales and Aguilar, according to police. A murder warrant was later issued for Gonzales before his capture.

He’s currently being held in the Bexar County Jail and his bond is set at $250,000, according to court records.
