Here are the COVID-19 vaccine pop-up clinics taking place around San Antonio

A series of clinics are popping up to help ramp up the COVID-19 vaccination effort around San Antonio.

Metro Health strongly encourages residents to use face masks at vaccination events.

You can also get your flu vaccine at the same time you get your COVID vaccine. All Metro Health pop-up clinics offer the flu vaccine at no cost. It is available to anyone 6 months and older. Metro Health also wants to emphasize the importance of getting tested under the following circumstances:

  • About five days after an exposure to a person who tested positive for COVID-19
  • As soon as you develop COVID-19 symptoms.

Below is the list of vaccine and booster shot eligibility and the upcoming pop-up clinic locations. All eligible residents are urged to get a COVID-19 vaccine and booster.

Vaccine Age Eligibility:

  • Pfizer, ages 5 and older
  • Moderna, ages 18 and older
  • J & J, ages 18 and older

Booster Age Eligibility:

  • 12 years and older after 5 months since initial vaccine series
  • 18 years and older after 5 months since initial vaccine series
  • 18 years and older after 2 months since single does vaccine

Metro Health $100 gift cards are available only at Metro Health-sponsored pop-up clinics while supplies last. Only those participants who complete their initial vaccination series of the Pfizer, Moderna or the one dose J&J at a Metro Health pop-up clinic are eligible.
